What are the Cheapest Spotting options available?

.... The Spacemaster is very good at a budget but the real gem out there is the Pentax 80ED - almost Kowa quality at less than half the price. ( Full disclosure: I'm selling mine cos I got the Kowa but I've been recommending the Pentax 80 ED for years as the value buy in the world of spotters ).......

I have the Pentax 80 ED-A as well. Great scope! The XW eyepieces are where it's at.

Guy asks about cheap range spotter and people start talking about $5000 optics.

I have a decent spotter and know what I do? I walk to check my targets, let's the barrel(s) cool and exercise never hurt anybody.

I have a Konus 20-60 x 80 and I am very pleased with. I think I paid around $250 for it a few years ago. Very clear optics for the price point. I had purchased it based on a recommendation from Jim Owens “JarHeadtop”.

At the last match I attended a few shooters looked through it and where shocked when I told them what I paid for it. One negative is the eye relief is short if you wear glasses. I don’t wear glasses so not an issue for me.
