What are the guns you regret NOT buying before the OIC?

I'm going to start talking about what I'm buying as soon as the OIC is overturned / repealed / overwritten / ANY OF THE ABOVE.

It's coming soon. (less then 5 years)

I moved from the GTA 12 years on 10 ago into a small town, then to the country on 10 acres (with a river in my backyard) about 3 years ago.

I set up a little shooting range in the back, complete with metal swinging targets. Shoot mainly PCC's, rimfires and occasionally shotgun to keep it relatively quiet.

Two of my neighbors moved from Toronto a short while ago and asked what I was doing back there, so decided to take them shooting one afternoon. They both loved it so much that they got their PAL and bought a few guns, now we'll go hang out once in awhile and enjoy a nice afternoon of plinking. They've even invited family members up from the city and they enjoyed it so much that they're getting their licenses as well!

To a person they all said the same thing; "I didn't realize that you can have so much fun shooting!"

This is how we save the shooting sports in Canada - take as many people out as you can and give them a positive view on firearms and shooting. I guess that makes me a "groomer?" Lol

240 weatherby vanguard and my Savage Axis 223
The weatherby has exactly 20 rounds 3 shots 200 yards under 1.65 inches factory ammo. The Axis 1,800 plus rounds and shoots like a dream.

All my other funds go to buying gas

Zero. Worthless. It's a banned item, what are you going to do with it? Nothing, therefore it isn't worth its weight in aluminium.

Are you literally serious right now???? :bangHead:

What I don't say too often is that if Grandfathered status was for sale to add to my PAL, I'd gladly pay $$,$$$. for several prohibited status classes to be added to my license..... :ar15:

Don't feed the trolls.
Remember, the feds and the antis have accounts here, there are those that want you to admit things they can use for their coming "side by side scary shotgun bans".
Remember, we all gave up shooting after the OIC and we're all fishermen and CBC advocates now.

I'm no troll...there's no talk of grandfathering anything. The government and it's right arm (Police/Military) will be removing these banned guns from us by force after all efforts of coercion have run the course. As firearms owners, we really only have one course of action, punish the government at the ballot box so severely that no other party in power would have the temerity to suggest banning firearms for the next two generations.

really only one course of action eh ? If you say so.

I regret selling a Modern Hunter in 6.5 creedmoor about three or four days before that got added to the FRT at prohib and you couldn't find them for sale anymore. It shot about 1 MOA with handloads, though it liked lower pressures / lower velocities it was still accurate.

I sold it because the longest range I had available (CFB Petawawa) didn't allow non-military calibres.

Regardless of its purpose, I really regret selling that now that I can't get one again. I loved that rifle.
