What are the holsters for?

Any military buffs out there who can answer these questions?
What guns would these identical holsters have held in WW2?
What rank, or who, would have been carrying these pistols?
What would this pouch have held?

Holsters are for the Cdn made and issued Inglis Browning HP pistol. These were normally issued to officers, tank crewmen and other specialist personnel, such as tank mechanics. I can't ID the pouch on the right.

It is a three pocket pouch for Browning mags.
