What are the Most Innovative Modern Firearms?

M10x with the DMR safety !!

Lol

My vote goes to XCR as well. And if I have to stay with your list: MPX

OP: I like what you did with the floor ;)

I’m going to go in a bit of a different direction with this, but I’d say some top innovative firearms within the last 5-10 years are:
- Modern Sporter. ATRS’s incremental approach of bringing to market a firearm that is very similar to an AR-15 without it being classed as an AR-15 was quite clever.

- BCL-102. Convincing the “powers that be” that this rifle was in the lineage of the original AR-10 spawned a whole variety of different types of non-restricted modern AR-10 rifles.

- Pistol braces. While not technically a firearm, it provided the US gun owners with a way to have “unregistered” SBRs for all intents and purposes. And it also killed any empirical argument as to why short barreled rifles should still be NFA items.

I like where you’re going. Would be an idea for a different video. “Gunovations that stuck it to the man”. The pistol or Beowulf mag could be added to that list.

Nothing of substance to add, just wanted to say I hadn’t heard of your channel before but I’m glad I checked it out!

Thanks man! I’ve been doing the Instagram thing for a few years now, but I’m new to YouTube. It’s a fun platform to play with and a great way to get info out. Planning to catalogue my whole collection with shooting, overview and field strip videos.

Haha that floor has definitely paid dividends. I’ve got a m10x I need to do a video set on here soon as well. They’re actually quite nice guns, I just have a hard time putting 2k towards one. At 1500 they’re an excellent buy though.

Xcr are fantastic. I’ve always admired Alex’s ingenuity with the platform. I’ve got a full video set on my XCR’s as well.

#2 General Dynamics Plastic cased ammo AR / Rifle with permanently attached sound suppressor

What is your channel and where is it if I want to check it out ?

YouTube: Arm&Gun
Instagram: @arm.and.gun
Insta posts to Facebook, so my recent content is mostly there as well.

I’d direct link, but I think that might be against forum rules. Shoot me a pm if you need anything further.

#1 Textron Cased Telecopic ammo powered LMG

Greentips those were all awesome picks. Only recently heard about the Textron.. they sure are something else.. Been very impressed with SIG the past few years. I saw Ian’s Knights LAMG videos recently. Very impressive platform. Constant recoil definitely has its place in lmg’s.

The bullpup pistols might qualify:

Although hardly anything is 100% new.

Oh yeah Textron... The Maker of the Mobile Piece O'Junk called the TAPV... They didnt bother priming before paint so if you looked at a Gen1 for too long, paint would chip away. An all terrain vehicle with no drain plugs at the bottom and ALL the electronic components running loosely on that same undrained belly. There is sooooo much fails in this truck that it looks like they got a hand from the fine folks of NEA in the design and QC department.

Burgess folding pump shotgun, yeah, it's not exactly modern but a modern version would be intriguing
