agree for the savage 1899 30-30, the must secur level rifles system, but i little old, mine is a 1909, shhot well but old.

I'v got a Marlin 444p Outfitter in 444 Marlin. Great little rifle that I would use on anything in Canada!

I have owned both a Win 94 30-30 and a Marlin 1895 45-70 and just picked up a Marlin 336A 30-30. I prefer the Marlins simply because I find the action to be slightly smoother, the rifle looks cleaner, fits me better, and shoot terrific. That being said, I did like the Winchester as well due to it's easy handling, lightweight and pointability. The Wins definitely snap to the shoulder naturally. I am also a huge fan of pistol grips, which is another reason I picked Marlin over Winchester. To me, it boils down to preference.
