how much is a new C7 handguard set worth black
how much is a C7a2 complete stock set worth in black , long handguard, grip and butstock (no buffer tube or rubber butt pad)

Also I need a CC or diemaco marked upper to go with my barrel, what is that worth if I was buying

When I bought the green sets of furniture I got the c8 set for 300 from a dealer and the c7a2 set it was 400 off the EE from a guy I've done several deals with in the past. Again that was for the sought after green sets, so not sure if it helps you all that much.

Why doesn't colt canada just sell this stuff and try to be a commercial success. Colt has gone broke many times
because it refuses to supply products that the public wants. At one time, late 1960's, Colt did just that. Even in the
early 1970's, when I was a dealer, Colt was in the business of supplying product out of Winnipeg.
Every other Ar15 manufacturer is trying to supply product. CNC machines at Colt can only turn out less than 100
lower receivers for the retail market. FN is supplying the public with ar15 rifles. Both have military contracts. Supply
shouldn't be an issue.

The "Colt" you refer to is Colt Defense. Colt Defense, and Colt Canada are two different corporate entities. Linked, but financially independent. Colt Canada is very much a commercial success, without the civilian market at all.

Colt Canada's civilian market is a small share of what it does globally with it's domestic military and police, and international military and police contracts.

Additionally, Colt Canada produces product on a "on demand" basis. It receives a contract, then orders materials to produce the product requested in that contract, then builds in a buffer of 10% to make up for any production errors. They then sell off the 10% en masse to other contracting bodies.

If they don't sell it off, then lately they have been surplusing to the civilian side. Or product, such as the green kit, comes back on retrofit programs, and they surplus it out.

So in reality they don't have a civilian production component to their business, just a civilian sales component to their military and police production overruns.
