What are these?? Please help

Friend of mine needed to get rid of his guns so I grabbed a ton off him. Including these. I have NO idea what they are. Can anyone help? What are they and what are they worth(roughly)


This is an OLD gun. It has an octagonol barrell. What else can I tell ya... It's a single shot. Pull back the hammer and lift the breach in order to load.

This is an old single shot .22 I can't see any other type of round going in there. Pull the hammer back and pull the breach Down to load.

Pretty Sure this is an Enfield from WWII. There is no bolt for it though :(

The first is likely a Belgian or German rifle from the mid 1800's when cartridges were first coming into vogue. Proof marks on the barrel would at least tell where it was made. Price is dependent on condition and rarity. $300.00 - $750.00. The second is likely one of many mass produced .22 cal. rifles from the early 1900's. Again, proofs would tell the tale. The LE looks to be a No.1 Mk.3. Without bolt it isn't worth much unless it's a rare variant. I would need all of the stamping info from the butt socket on both sides and whatever is on the receiver and barrel. Don't sell any until you know what you have. Dave

I have one other rifle. Looks to be a WWII sniper rifle with Peep sites. Still have all the site changes in the stock. Ideas?

That last guy is a martini, as you know... mainly just competition or training guns, more the dominion of the blackpowder guys. Very nice guns though.

Looks like someone engraved the fore stock after the fact, but still nice.

Edit - don't really know what that knob is for under the lever though...
 
The fist one with the (Pine??) stock, looks like an old Folbert. Probably rim fire, European cartridge. - Value = not much.

The last one (220 LR) looks like a BSA/ Martini target rifle, take down model - Value = $250 + depending on barrel condition.
 
I'd be guessing in the dark... but $250-300? It looks a little rough, and there's a nicer condition one that isn't selling for $400 in the EE right now. Depends how the internals and bore are too.
 
Smokepole, you were right, the first one is a Belgium Flobert .22 from the 1800's I'll throw it up in EE and see what I get for offers, max I saw was $350 from an auction in the states.
 
The first gun is a Warnant type of Flobert action. I think they were still being built up until the 1950's and would sell for about $75 locally. The second appears to be a Belgian copy of a Stevens Little Scout. Locally again in the $75 range if in shootable condition. Many of these guns have eroded chambers from shooting shorts in a long rifle chamber and that makes extraction difficult. The Martini would probably run $400 with the peep sight on it, otherwise a little over $300

The second rifle down, the .22, looks like a Remington Model Six.

I've seen a couple other guns that used a similar action, from Stevens, as well as one that was retailed by Eatons, chambered for bb caps only, as a kids gun (it was smaller than a Daisy bb gun!)

The Martini is a BSA, maybe a 12 or 13. Great target guns, a little heavy for a walking rifle. Are the reast of the sight inserts in the box? That's the knurled, nut looking thing under the lever on the wrist. Should unscrew, and be holding the spare inserts inside.

I'd be pretty willing to part with maybe $350 or so, maybe a bit more, maybe a bit less, on a close look at the condition, for it in that shape. As was posted above, there are some not selling in the EE right now that look better, from a cosmetic perspective. That's a price, at which, if I saw it at a gunshow, I'd be pretty seriously thinking of digging out cash...

They are good solid guns, accurate as all get out, when the barrels are in decent shape (an inch or less at 100 yds was expected out the door at the factory). That one looks like a good honest using gun, that could use a bit of cleaning up.

I saw two at the last show I was at, asking mid 500's and not selling, either.

Tis the season, coming up. Guy will want to be getting out to the range.

Yes, all the site inserts are in that nut looking thing. I am deff looking at selling it as I want to get more black rifles and handguns.

I'm just going through web site after web site to make sure any of these aren't some type of special antique.

Just a friendly reminder, that you must post a price if you list in the E/E. It will save you a lot af hassle as well.

I'll post a price. Just need to figure out if anything is special so I don't loose anything good. Need more money for another AR ;)
 
That is quite a haul of guns you got. Several of my buddies have been given free guns from neighbours etc. I'm still waiting for mine. Congrats.
