advertised as 8 shot clips for C96 / 1912 Styer

look like Tok clips to me and wont work in the aforementioned guns

right wrong?....

they are for the styer 1912 pistola. they shoot that 9mm styer, which is basically the same as 9 largo. 9x23. standard 9mm rounds have the same base size, and will fit in the strippers. as to if they will fit a Tok, i am not sure. i have a drawer full of em somewhere

They are Czech made 1950 and 7.62 Tok and 9mm Luger came packed in them. They are about1/32" shorter than the Steyr clip but work fine.

C96 clip had a bit of a curve in it, also was 10 rounds (shock! shock!)

These are found fairly commonly, guys above have ID'd them pretty well. One thing I will say is that the original 9mm Steyr round is a bit loose in these and might pop out. Original round had a slightly tapered case, .380" at the tim, .375" at the mouth. This is only .012" smaller than the Luger round, but it can really make a difference going into the old gun.

Best cure for the scarcity of 9mm Steyr brass seems to be .38 Super brass: turn the rim to even-out with the case diameter, bevel slightly and load 'em up.

Steyr is a BEAUTIFUL gun to shoot: accurate and fast, even if it does point strangely. Use the sights and you will be surprised.

Hang onto these; one of these days, somebody gonna run out!
