Are they already deactivated? If not, you're probably better off keeping them that way even if the market is very limited for them. As Dewats, the market is probably even worse.
Both are able to be made restricted by being re-barreled to .30 reid if their prohib status is the issue. Price would probably be same/similar to having them deactivated, but they would be worth far more as functional restricted pistols than dewats. They currently also both qualify for 12-7 status if being transferred from a qualifying family member.
I received no interest on the 12.6 forum for quite a long time.
I got fed up.
They are both very nice pieces.
They are both at Gunco getting deactivated.
I was thinking about putting them on the CGN Militaria Forum ----but I will probably send them to Collector's Guild in NB. for sale.
I have been lucky selling my stuff on CGN including 12.3 submachine guns.
This 12.6 forum experience with these two pistols has definitely been less than exciting!
When I started collecting WWII German pistols my interest was in the collecting NOT the shooting.
None of the pistols shown below were ever shot (by me)
I started selling my WWII collection some time ago and all of the pistols shown below were sold to CGN members.
(Two of the pistols sold were 12.6s )
