I'm going to look at 5 hand guns tomorrow and have no idea what they are worth so I'm looking for some help.
This is all I have for info before seeing them,

Early 1900's vintage

1- S&W Gamblers pistol
1- WW1 British Officers pistol
2- British Bull Dogs
1- Stosel .32 (He says it was made in Belgium)

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,Paul

Would need some model # "s
The 1st and last 2 will be prohibes I
would think. 2 nd one .455 webley?
or 38 enfield?
This is like asking what my gray truck is
worth

WWI British officer's pistol could be several different things. Commissioned officers usually purchased their own sidearms, in the standard issue calibre which at the time was .455 Webley. A Webley MkVI revolver is a likely suspect, but other makers supplied revolvers in this calibre to that market and I think there were even some Colt 1911 automatics made in .455. If an officer wanted to rely on his own supply of ammunition, he could carry anything he chose. (I think the Enfield revolvers in .380 (.38 S&W) weren't developed until after WWI.)
