So it is confirmed that all SKS variants and all SVT variants are now prohibited. The bill will most likely pass the senate. The province of Alberta CFO said he is not going to enforce the prohibition and it looks like the Saskatchewan is following this too.
Water bodies are all frozen so boating accidents are out….
 
Phil - What's the question ? They're "on the List" of the Amendment, so likely it will pass since the liebs have the control of the Senate due to m. leturdo's appointing over 65 "Independent" Senators at the beginning of his Reign.

Better question might be, what isn't on this list!!!

I'm Albertan and so MY government has said they will not be coming to my house and kicking in the doors to grab my property so until that statement changes I will continue on as normal and keep and use my personal property safely and responsibly.

Liberals are NOT my government neither are they representing the vast majority of Albertans and them passing any law that actually has 40% of provinces and 30% of Territories publicly stating they will not enforce these just shows this "law" is as unjust as slavery was and to actually comply would be morally wrong so unless they plan on arresting hundreds of thousands of people then funding hundreds of thousands of trials by jury then on the off chance finding room in prisons for placing all these "criminals" while they release phedofiles, murderers, drug dealers and gang members I think mass non compliance is the morally appropriate response to this Liberal law !

I am not seeing anything that specifically names the SKS, can you post a link to where it says that?
 
Honestly, they’re making my gsg 16 prohib, a 22lr plastic toy like item that shoots peas... and you think your gonna keep your sks and Benelli M4? Don’t get me wrong I want mine too, but it’s firm on the 22lr on the list, I don’t see them letting me huck an ounce of nasty FU slug down range as fast as I can pull a trigger. Let’s think velocity from my gsg vs. My sks? Don’t think I’m keeping anything in my safe if the gsg is on the block... hope I’m wrong tho..

As a conservative Albertan... ive done more then my fair share. Guns owners caught in non Conservative ridings are the only ones who can make a real impact now. Ontario, Quebec, Lower BC... they dont give a rats ass what Albertans think or want.

Ford and the AG need to follow suit. Every affected Ontarians need to send letters/emails to both.
