what are you most excited to hunt this year?

Moose for me.

first time ever going moose hunting. last year was my first year of big game hunting period. tried deer and bear last year (got both).

so I put in for the moose draw and I got my big bull tag. so Im heading off sunday night for 2 weeks of moose hunting. Im also keeping an eye out for some nice bears aswell.

Going on my first moose hunt this year. Haven't been out in the last five years so I am damn excited about this. Going for a week in mid Oct and our group has a shared draw for 2 bulls.
 
Moose, er - deer, or maybe moose, no, deer or..............??? Dang, I'd hate to have to choose between them if I was stuck with just doing one or the other, but luckily I'm not, so I'm heading out Thursday for a week+ moose hunting (no adult tags though) and then the beginning of November for a week+ deer hunting.

Most excited about hunting whitetails this fall. Missed the whole hunting season last fall working out of province, so I,m really looking forward to muzzle loading this year.

I can't wait to skewer a whitetail with my new crossbow - it's open season for the other species.....all year.....

Hare and grouse. I didn't bother getting tags for big game. Just need to pick up my small game sticker. Besides, lugging a deer over my shoulders does not appeal to me as pleasurable. That and a bloody rump beside my sub box isn't the best of ideas either.
