What are you using for transport of your pistols?

I have been using more budget oriented locking cases so far, but my addiction seems to be spiraling out of control quickly! I was looking for something which can store 4+ at a time for transportation, the seahorse SE540 caught my eye, anyone have any experience with these? What are you using for transport of multiple pistols while being legal for transport?

I use this for my (2) 9MM's and love it, if I bring any more firearms it's a range bag. It's 1/2 the price of a similar sized Pelican with better locking and adjustable foam that locks guns in place with out pick foam so I can change out guns easily.

I have a hard Plano rifle case I use. Pretty easy to get at least 5 handguns in there. The case is lockable and quite reasonable priced. It makes transport a lot easier than multiple hand gun cases.

A Samsonite briefcase at the Sally Ann for 10 bucks. It even had the keys. Filled it with foam, and it can easily handle 4 full size pistols, 6 with some care full packing

I have been using an Americase 507 pistol case for years. It's a tab heavy but very solidly build.

I use Pelican Cases one of which will take two rifles, a shotgun and two pistols. It fits in the back of my truck and so I'm well prepared. Most of the time it's doing storage duty in my RV. My smaller (but not small) Pelicans are partitioned so that I can pack two pistols, ammo and some small tools. Other times one holds a pistol, ammo in mags, another box of ammo, eyes, ears and some small tools including the MagLulas. I really do need a buxom gun carrier and a golf cart for her to drive.

I shoot 3Gun and so the next buy will be a range cart. Those built like baby buggies are popular where I shoot in Texas.

I use a Nanuk 915 for my CZ. When I shoot a match its the only pistol I bring so having it by itself in a case makes sense.

And I use a Nanuk 920 for my 2 1911's... they tend to be shot at the same time so keeping them together makes sense.

These pics were taken before I got the 915 for the CZ... At the time I kept it and my Ruger in one case:

The 920 would be a great 4 gun case. It has dual level foam so you could put 2 pistols on the bottom like I have and 2 pistols on the top where I have my mags. Only cost about $100... $115 or so shipped from Hardcases.ca

Use a large steel diamond plate lockable toolbox with foam in it, holds 4 hand guns easy, and some cleaning supplies and few tools on top tray

I wish I had pistols...........

Get in the pool Mr. Lab!

They are great when you need a fix once in a while and easier to sneak into the house without Management knowing. I got hooked just five years ago and wish I would have done so much earlier. There are dozens of choices and at least 100 of us that will help you spend the money.

Nice Pics of the CZ Mr. Pavement!

I'm in the process of ordering a Tanfoglio Custom Limited Xtreme with a similar but different "look". My new toy will have adjustable sights. The damned thing even 'fits" me!

I needed to buy a grown up gun but I think I blew it again.

I have two, a small lockable ammo can (for one or two pistols) and a small red toolbox from Cantire (its good for up to 4). My pistols get wrapped in a little towel and off they go!

Sometimes a good gun case is one that doesn't look like a gun case. One of mine is a lockable business briefcase. Another is a tool box. In past threads I've seen cases that people have customized using a power tool case with customized foam interiors. Places like Lowes have very good lockable tool bags with lots of compartments which can be used for magazines and other gear. Depending on one's needs and resources there are lots of options. For trips from my truck to the range, I use an older camera bag with a comfortable sling. Sometimes it's fun to beat the system and get a lot for very little.
