What are you uusing to holster your 6" S&W 686?

Just curious what people are using. I've been looking around, and I just can't find anything I really like.
I'd rather not have a tan leather one, and I want a belt clip version. I'd like just some kind of plain black retention holster. ...Any suggestions?

I am wondering if this will carry the 6" and just have 2" poke out the bottom?

It might, but think of trying to draw that front slide through that hole........best go get a fit for purpose.

Although you said a 686 and you didn't want a tan holster. Here's my 586 in a tan holster. They're cheap (the holster)and will do in a pinch. I ordered this from Cabelas for a PPC course.

On the advice of a fellow nutter, someone who is involved with concealed carry canada, I picked up Bianchi Model 111 from Packin' Heat Leather Company.

It's brown leather but it works great. Don't know of any in the style you're looking for.

The best belt holster I can think of is this one by KL Null. Yes, it is for a K-frame but I am sure Mr Null makes one for a L-frame. Regards, Richard
