What are your experiences with the Para LTC

I just bought one and on the second time out the slide lock started to malfunction. With every mag change the bump caused the slide to go forward. Upon inspection the corner was rounded instead of square. Otherwise it's a fun little gun; I'm still getting used to it.

Mine has been back to the factory twice. First time it would not feed right out of the box, sent it back, fixed and back in my hands in 2 weeks.
Second time, there was a small crack in the frame. Para replaced the frame, no questions asked, but it did take about 4 months. I think it was due to some disorganization at their shipper/receiver.
No issues since.
Otherwise, I enjoy it. Mine has the alloy frame.

You're asking a bit late 
I think I mentioned this but Para's can be picky for magazines. Try to get only Para factory mags, I was having hiccups with 3rd party manufactured magazines. Thats a drawback to 1911s, lots of companies make them and even more companies on top of that make magazines, so you can end up some variance.
Also, .45auto is getting way too expensive
