What are your latrine methods on a hunting trip?

I don't tend to stay put for too long, but my favourite is a pre-dump gathering of nice wide looking leaves (there are always some if you look hard enough). Get enough to make a good sized pillow (cus you won't want to go on another expedition after you're done. Then it's down to digging a hole at the bottom of a tree with a branch, and you're set.

Boy oh boy , i'd love to have the keys to the truck if one of my buddies decided to use the bumper dumper . I'd smoke the hides right off those tires and have him right down town at 80 miles an hour and right up to McDonalds drivethrew . Hell , i'd back him up right to the drivethrew window .

Use a large concrete cylinder mold with plastic lid to keep the TP sealed and dry.

Another good trick for keeping tp dry is the use the plastic containers that bulk 100 spindals of CD's & DVD's come in. I collect them from work & pass them out to friends. A roll of tp fits in them perfectly & keeps the weather & mice out of it.

Now that's a good idea.

Thanks

dumbdawg, I do'nt have to wear disposal gloves when taking a dump at home, I have water and soap in the bathroom. Do you ever wash your hands after you taking a dump at home ?

I don't know about you guys but I was taught how not to crap, and piss on my hands. :D

I remember G'damned near puking. Man, my ribs were sore for a while after that. Hunting sh1t stories are GD funny. I also remember telling you that I shot a 5x5 once with my pants down around my ankles, and I swear that is the truth. :D

Enough of the ####ting around camp idea - what do you do if you're on the move?

My original post was oriented at being mobile and/or not knowing where "camp" is going to be.

Just answer the question.:D

These are the best when on the move. Burn in the fire when you get to camp...

After a while the stuff inside does get a bit squishy though :D

doesn't anyone just squat? Seems to save a lot of rigamarole, and cleanup is easier, too. Dig a little hole first, of course! Wet naps are good prevention of the dreaded "tertiary wipe"...
