What are your latrine methods on a hunting trip?

Don't pizz off any cliffs or bridges where there's an up draft . I learned that fer sure .

I use a wooden toilet seat. You can buy one or make your own easily enough. A pile of rocks or a 5 gallon pail to put under it is all you need.

i wash them when & wherever i take a dump or piss.just never heard or saw anyone takeing a dump with gloves on has anyone else here ever see or hear besides snowhunter
 
I carry a ziploc with a few paper towels (way tougher than TP and you can do the job with just one), a few individually packages sanitary wipes and some hand sanitizer (which also kicks ass as a firestarter). Shovel optional, but reccomended.

In a pinch, fresh urine can be used to clean a serious cut or wound as it is sterile. I learned this from my father who took an ice pick through his hand and sterilized the wound with his own urine (after beating the attacker unconscious) :rockOn:

me I just find a nice warm compressor building, line heater or meter shack and crap in there.... nice warm building, usually a grate floor and the operator will come along and clean up the mess for you, usually a little place to put your toilet paper and so on :)
 
Dumbdawg, sick dogs have been observed drinking thier own urin, as a cure ?

A former prime minister India once told the CBS "60 Minute", that he drank his own morning urin for good health, and he was around 85 years old at the he told the story.

Inuit's also know the healing properties of urin, in particular of frost bitten hand.

The urin from pregnant women should also have some medical properties ?

yeah thats what they say... but I KNOW better then that ;) ;)

andyes cass... hunting season is still 10 days away, I can hold it that long.... when we going shooting ??
