What are your thoughts on BCL SRV2 Grizzly .308?

As ever I wonder how many people offering their opinions have actually owned a BCL rifle. I have a 102 and a Siberian. Decades of experience in civilian and and military shooting.

I have had no problems with either of my BCL rifles.

The thing is, yes some had problems - but BCL's customer service is much better than 90 % of the rest (not scientifically proven). So one must wonder why people are claiming that the customer service sucks and in fact everything sucks about their products and you know from first hand experience that this is not true. Yes, I saw the videos on youtube and yes I saw the reddit and gunnutz posts, but every time someone is asking about a follow up - all you get is silence.

The big issue with SFRC is they are one of the vendors who was in cahoots with Epps, Wolverine and a couple others I think who were on board with helping the govt with the confiscations
Lots of folks are real sour over that and understandably so
I have bought stuff from SFRC in the past and had good service from them

Some stores claimed they had close to $1,000,000 in oic firearms. Considering some of the banned English hunting rifles are $300k each it’s likly true. Probably all bought with bank loans they now can’t pay back by selling. If you were in this position as a store owner you would be trying everything to get that buyback money from the gov too. Before the company goes under. This group of store owners and a firearms association wss trying to work towards the gov giving the stores their money. So they could reinvest in more legal sellable guns to buy and sell. They had nothing to do with going after personal firearms. Only store buybacks. and stores could choose to do it or not.

A store with 3 ar-15’s in stock can afford to give the gov the finger and hold off for years. A store with a million bucks in banned fireams can’t afford to do that.

Did they get payment from the Govt?

Let's get back to reality ffs...

The Government is 100% behind any confiscation that happens, it has NOTHING to do with any of the vendors you listed, who would clearly rather sell you a rifle than aid the government in this fiasco that has badly hurt the stores you mentioned.

I've purchased items off the gun shops you mentioned, and I will continue to do so.

I have an RFB that I'm going to sell to buy a Grizzly, I want that long sight radius, and as long as BCL is still in business I'm confidant that any problem will be sorted out.

Hey don’t get crappy with me. I’m not the one who came out with the “blacklist” of venders who were part of all that
A poster was asking what the deal was with SFRC and I told him what I had read on here

Like you, I have dozens of years shooting in both a military and civilian context.
I have ~ a dozen years dealing with NEA / BCL from their AR offerings, their Swiss Arms Stanag Lowers, the 102s and their Bison.
I haven't run across one of their products that didn't have something amiss with it aside from their MRX magazine for the Bison.

They come up with some great ideas, but they just fall short in their follow through.
