Been absent for a while and still very unhappy about the federal election. But....

Just wondering what you all think about still purchasing prohibs or any other hg for that matter.
 
Just bought a XDM, waiting to go fire her up !! YUP, our DICTATOR, that I did not vote for is really destroying our country, day by day ! BLOODY SAD
 
The "prohibited class" revolver classification will never be remedied. Liberals/NDP/Green all believe that no one but police & the military should own, possess & use firearms. Where this happens in the world it's called a Police State. The population are not citizens but subjects.

The Conservative-in-name-only government of Stephen Harper on the national scene had six (6) years in majority government to fix C68, but failed. They let 2 private members gun rights bills die too. It took Harpers CINO 18 months to pass C42, which the Liberals will all roll back in C71.

Kanada is toast.
 
I remember when you could buy an hg at almost any sporting goods store and acceptable reasons were target shooting and home defence. No special permit and no bs. If I remember correctly you had to be 21. What I do remember is the first day I could legally buy one I did! Never dreamed people in this country would become so opposed to a simple tool. Don’t care what people say the states has it right, arm the public protects the public. No country that banned guns has seen a drop in violent crimes.
When I ask the antis what good it will do I get the usual unsupported argument that it will make it harder for criminals to obtain. My reply is always the same - cocaine has been banned since the early 1900’s and is readily available in EVERY community in this country so why would/ will guns be any different. Funny how no one can answer that question ! NOT EVEN MY USELESS MP.
 
After a pretty quiet 2019 I've bought four handguns in the last two months. I'm not letting the possible threat of legislation affect my buying decisions...if anything, it may be accelerating them.
 
business as usual pal. All competitive sports are thriving and memberships numbers increasing.

Vote well the next election, problem solved.
 
Obviously your not from the Maritimes! People hear continue to vote liberal no matter how bad of a government they form be it federal or provincial. My wife and I have NEVER voted liberal in our entire lives.

My first handgun was an S&W Model #19 which I traded for a backpak and $50.00 , I was 18 . Times certainly have changed , I still have the revolver...
 
My most used gun is a 4 in model 19, if I still had the 2 in It would be right up there as well.
I bought another one the other day as some one messed there licence up.
The B.S. about making the streets safer is just a excuse , that no one but Chiefs of police and left wing wingbats believe.
It is getting to the point if I want to go to the "big city" for some stupid reason, I fell like I should be packing.
There are some great buys on 12-6, but of coarse , that don't help the ones that don't already have one.
I am old enough, I just ignore #### heads down east.
BTW, I also remember a deal going south way before C68 when the lady buyer listed the reason for buying a 32 colt was "carry in my purse for protection"
So that reason has been off the table for many years, unless you happen to be a poor down trodden gang banger, than nothing happens.

Couldn’t carry in your purse or otherwise, as long as I’ve been around but at 62 I’m still a young un. However for property protection ( ie- your home ) was an acceptable reason in my earlier yrs.

19 is a nice gun
My first was a single six which I still have. I still have all the hg’s I bought over the years. I am unable to part with firearms once I buy them, they are my loved ones,lol.Have been thinking about selling some but cringe every time I try to advertise one for sale!
 
True enough, when she stated the reason, I knew the deal was dead in the water, and I am way older than you., My knees are really talking to me today.
