What be folks keeper chamberings for Hunting and Plinking?

My favourite caliber by far is 7.62x39. You can get anything from surplus to hornady, bolts, semis. Good enough for deer. Don't have to worry about accidentally putting a hole in your neighbour's shed.

I forgot 7.62x39, 5.56x45, 303 British and a new addition for me, which in all likelihood will be a keeper, 7mm Rem Mag. Hmmm...I'll have to think. There may be more.
