I would prefer one that can hold two boxes of shells so around 50 rounds. Ideally will have a mesh netting or something also for the spent shells.

Leather is a bonus, but I can do with out.

What do you use? Pics appreciated.

I am interested to hear these answers, I use a vest when more than 25. I really don't like the weight of 50 when shooting tho. My leather pouch is only for 25 it's a wild hare and I paid a fortune for it be of duty but I bet I have it the rest of my life, I just got it this spring and used it every week this summer and you would never know , there quality is that good!

I have a Beretta pouch that will hold 50 rounds, it's a bit heavy so I prefer to only have one box in it though. I also have a Beretta mesh hull pouch that I can add to my belt if I want to keep hulls.
Mostly I wear a vest because I like to have 4 big pockets, often I carry two different rounds for sporting clays so it works well to keep them separated.

Use whatever works for you. I've seen guys use a tool pouch. You'd need a pretty good sized pouch to carry 2 boxes of 12ga shells (at least if you are keeping your empties).

I've got a leather pouch made by a guy in Texas. He does fantastic work.

I have found that Shamrock Leathers has the most versatile assortment of leather goods for shotgunning. Where do you live in Ontario (I'm in Woodstock)? I have most of their products, that have a belt go through them. They also make the same items, but they clip onto the belt. I can take some pictures, if you like.

I use a "drymate" belt for trap, hold up to 3 boxes of shells, dumped into the large pocket. 20$ from Amazon + prime shipping isn't bad.

I run a 5.11 Tactical belt with a box holder at 10 and 2 O'clock on the belt for Trap doubles. I then have my mesh hull pouch at 3 o'clock. It's a little heavy at the start but as you shoot it gets lighter fast.
