One thing that seems to come up regularly in talking with other hunters is having a good alarm clock to wake up all hunters in the morning.

So for the veterans of hunting camp, what brand alarm clock do you wake up to, ensuring you get a good start on the day's hunting?;)

This one's the best...

But seriously now...I find the regular old-fashioned, generic, wind-up style alarm clocks to be the noisiest and most foolproof way of waking up. You could probably pick one up from Wallyworld or CT.

Ditto, our old camp cook "meathead" would get up a half hour before us and have the table laid out with a big breakfast and three pots of coffee perking on the stove before he even woke us up.;)

I love early mornings, I have this inner clock set to get up early.. and more often than not I wake up either an hour early or 1 minute before the alarm! LOL!

i use a modern old style ding ding ding alarm clock got it free for applying for a CT card LOL takes one aa battery and works like a charm

A wind-up BIG BEN!! We set it near the one fellow that is slow to move in the am. He's up and about in a jif.

We use the same annoying alarm every year-just a cheap plastic small digital clock. If not the alarm then the smell of coffee. If that doesnt work then its off we go and leave the others behind......And if we really feel like having fun, we fire off a bear scare banger over the camp. Two of us left for the morning hunt, and when we got back at around 11am, they others were still out. A couple of buddies were out cold from a night with CR, and with the bear scare over camp they had 2 head aches-one from the CR, the other from smacking their heads on the wooden bunk frames as they were on the bottom....lmao We laughed so hard we fell off our quads.

Uness I am relaly bagged form the day before, I am usually awake before the alarm clocks go off.

Whether or not I will get out of bed is dependant on how I feel.:p
