what brand of automatic powder dispenser do you have??

I've got the Hornady unit coming in from Natchez next week. According to my research it's as good, if not better than the RCBS Chargemaster, only much cheaper. Natchez has both on sale right now and the current prices can't be beat. But the international orders lady will be away this coming week so orders won't be processed until the following week.
 
I have 2 presses with the Lee autodisks, works great up to about 32grs. I have 2 Lee powder measures, they work fine with Unique and IMR 4320, but they are not the best. I have Hornady powder measure on my LNL. A nice piece of kit, but not cheap.

I'm just getting in to reloding and still playing with getting a chargmaster combo
i got a every thing to start but brass bullets powder and primers
will be rolling up sum 357/38, 44mag , 308, 243, 7.62x39, 260 and sum 22 hornet
 
RCBS all the way!

I load even the ammo I shoot out to a mile + with it. Does great!

Its fast, AND Consistant. Just make sure to regulaily check its calibration.

REALLLY speed up my loading time!

Hint:
When you initially calibrate the scale, weight the pan, and then put a piece of sticky backed paper (with the weight of the pan written on it), on the front side of the chargemaster. Anywhere it is easily visible and not in the way of the Digital readout.
This way you can glance at the negative value on the readout every time you pickup the pan to pour it into the case. If it matches the pan weight marked on the sticky paper, you are good to go and can trust the charge.

I have used 3, started with RCBS, loved it till the key-panel stopped responding, this is a known problem with older models, unfortunately the one I had was one of these, sending it back was not worth if given postage both ways, + repair costs.

Bought lyman = JUNK, the zero drift drives you nuts, have to rezoero every 20 rounds, that one is now an anchor.

Next was Hornady, works like a charm, I love it. The only downside is that the powder drain tube is a bit small, takes a long time to drain N570, as the extruded sticks are quite large

I think the RCBS is just as good as Hornaday, but once burned....:mad:

I use an expensive powerbar with noise filtering, and run the scale 1/2 hour before I start using it.

If you still have it contact RCBS about off warranty repairs. When mine calved they told me to smash it with a hammer and email the pictures with $65 for a new one. I shot mine with a .458 Win Mag instead, but they were OK with that.:D
 
I have the Lyman 1200 DPS 3. I decided to do some match load developement today and use it to throw charges to be verified on a Dillion Balance scale. I was almost perfectly consistent at 0.1gn over on each charge. I loaded 50 so I am pretty certain it was a fair test. Even doing the double check on the balance scale it was super quick!

I still have it, when I called 2 years ago they did not make me that offer, perhpaps I will try again

Same boat as me, I have everything but the scale(505 to start with) but I figure with Natchez.com having them so cheap, why spend over $100 on the RCBS uniflow powder dispenser when for a measly 200 more I can be fancy...
Buy once Cry once? Am gonna definitely grab a thumler's tumbler at the same time and make just 1 trip across the border to save shipping.
Looking again at Natchezss.com, they have a $50+$25 mail in rebate to RCBS for a purchase over $300 in RCBS Equipment. Problem I have is, I don't foresee using 5000 primers in the next 5 years... But in the end, $50 off the chargemaster combo does make it closer to the Hornady price.
