Looking to order a few parts from Brownell's but I have heard about some sort of Dept. clearance on certain brands. Which of these brands have you been able to receive here in Canada? Let me know.
There is a list of manufacturers whose products Brownells is allowed to export. Someone put it up on this site and a search under Brownells should turn it up. this is inb addition to the other export rules such as the $100 limit, firearms parts, etc
That's not as reliable as you'd expect. I ordered some Colt parts, the notice said "ships to US locations only", even though Colt is indeed registered and can ship to Canada.
In answer to the OP, all I know for sure is Colt is registered, Sig isn't (which I've recently learned with some disappointment).
That no ship list included Numrich as well. But they ship up here. Talk to the international shipping girl (Renata?) and specify the part and she should be able to tell you.
I had no luck getting the op rod spring guide for an M14, and she had me listed under the law enforcement (discount). oh well, their loss, got it from Marstar. I did however get a Brownells catelogue just come in. Nice to see what i CAN'T BUY!
I've found in the last couple of months it is really hit and miss as to what Brownell's will ship across the border. It is best to phone and ask, also ask if the part needs any paperwork. They are good at helping a person out.
I've had a couple of no ships very recently, believe it or not they wouldn't ship a Pacmayr grip, or a (Springco) stainless steel guide rod either. It's really getting both annoying and frustrating. Friggen U.S state department.
