what bullet for 260?

will be getting a 260 in very near future and plan to start reloading. it will be only used for yotes and target shooting till deer season starts next fall and I would rather bow hunt anyways...so what bullets would be best to try for yotes and targets under 600-700 yards

i use the 140 A-MAX. It may not have the best BC out there, but it does have good accuracy, a good BC, and has a ballistic tip for more effective terminal ballistics on coyotes and such than the other match bullets out there

I would determine what twist rate the barrel is before asking for bullet advice.

1:8 will shoot the 140's and 142's.
1:9 MAY stabilize these bullets but you would have to try them.
1:10 or higher will limit your bullet selection to the shorter/lighter bullets.

108 or 123 grain Scenar. Very accurate. And not so heavy that your smallish case will have to strain to get good velocity.

I shoot 107 gr HPBTM in mine. Awesome accurate. Looking at trying some 85 gr hollow points soon.

Ive had great luck with the Berger 130 and 140 as well as the 123 and 140 Hornady A-Max
