First off if I happen to find some 160 accubonds or 175 partitions in the next few weeks great but if not these are my choices right now.
My WBY Vanguard S2 will be a backup gun to my T3 338 shooting 250gr Accubonds if something should happen to it.

I have 100 - 175 gr Speer Mag Tips, 100 - 160 gr Speer Hot-Cores, and 200 - 162gr Hornady SPBT. I have R19, 22 and IMR 4831, 4350 & 7828 for development.
It will be used for elk and moose (my brother will use it for his moose)

Speer says the mag tip is 45% thicker in the shank than regular Hot Cores.

Any one have real experience in the above bullets?

Reloder 22 and IMR 7828 are your best powders [usually] in the 7mm RM.

None of those bullets are my choices, but since you are limited at present,
I would see how the Hornady shot first of all, then the 175 Mag Tip.

My Go-To combo in the 7mm Rem Mag has been the 160 Partition/IMR 7828.

Regards, Eagleye.

I have been using 175gr Partitions and IMR7828 on everything from Sitka Blacktails to Moose. I am now playing with Ramshot Magnum and I just picked up a box of Nosler's 168gr Long Range Accubonds. I think I will give them a try this year.

I agree with Eagleye in that the 160 Hot Cores would be my last choice.
