What calibers for .223 bolt head ?

Hey guys. I'd like a list of calibers that use the .223 sized bolt head.

I do not have my book handy but right off I know that .223 and .222 are the same casing size.

You could build a .17Rem. I have one and it is a real tack driver. Pretty cheap to reload too!!

Almost any caliber not larger than the brass, what you want to know is what brass works with a 223 bolt face.

Everything from a 17 Remington to a 300 whisper use the 223 case

fireball cases, 222, 222 remington magnum, 204 Ruger, 20 tactical, practical and Vartarg, 6X47 (old).

Well I know I was thinking about a 17 fireball as of late. Maybe a Stevens 223 used to convert over to that??

A RCBS #10 shell holder will fit: .17 Rem, .204 Ruger, .221 Rem Fireball, .222 Rem, .222 Rem Mag, 7mm TCU and .380 ACP. This should give you a start.
