January 28th, what can I hunt and where?

I've scoured the regs and I can't really see anything I can hunt. Im only interested in hunting something I can eat.

No, I'm not a troll. I have my licence for just about everything, including turkey. I use bow and gun.

Now that the deer season is long passed I'm itching to get out in the bush again.

Answers geatly appreciated :D

Here in 91 Coyote, fox, crows, blackbirds, rabbit, squirrel, raccoon, starlings. Rabbit requires a permit from the township where I live.
A lot of guys will go to coyotes after deer season, equally challenging and can be had with the firearm/bow of your choice.

you can hunt yotes fox in some places you can hunt rabbits still .here may even be a late goose season

Hunt 'human' predators. Lots out there, they range from coast to coast and should be open all year round (check the regs.) You'll certainly be my hero if you bag a few and most likely get a thumbs up from tens of 1000's more.

How about members of PETA? You could live trap them, dress them in fur coats and then tie them to a metal light post in their natural surroundings, the city (you dont want to use a wooden pole, it's not right to cut down trees remember) and feed them venison burgers!:D :kickInTheNuts:

Or you could just go after some late season geese, spring goose season opens soon.

Coyotes, coyotes and when you are done, more coyotes. Go shoot as many as you can. There are too many of them and they ar screwing us out of good deer seasons.

Oh yes, you said something you can eat. Ok then, while you are hunting for rabbits, shoot some coyotes.:D

Enjoy

Here in 67 squirrels closed in Dec. not sure about TO area. You know I always wondered how squirrel tasted? How would you cook it?

Shake and Bake and pop it in the oven, deeelicious!! Don't try it wwith red squirrel though, first of all you must have a trappers permit as they are classed as a fur bearer and secondly you'd be better to eat say.............. a boiled pine cone, them little guys are just plain nasty eating!:puke:

You don't need a trapper's lic. to hunt squirrels (black/grey) here the season runs from sept-dec here in WMU 67 and all you need is small game lic. Oh....are you reffering to red squirrels you need a trapper's lic? Are you saying all squirrels taste like crap or just the red ones ?
