What can you tell me about the enfield Envoy

Google "Lee Enfield Envoy Rifle", I got lots of hits.

There was a fellow in Edmonton last year trying to offload an Envoy - IIRC he wanted around 2k, was still in it's box - I didn't have 2 grand to spend and wouldn't know original packaging if it bit me on the nose, but it was a nice looking rifle. Very light wood, can't recall what it had for sights.

There's some pretty good information and an Envoy free service offered by one of the members there, plus member's questions are being responded to by Ian Skennerton, Peter Laidler, Roger Payne and other Enfield Advisory Panel members....

I have one that I put in an original L42a1 stock. I still have the original stock. I was thinking of getting a no gunsmith mount for it.......

For an Unmolested and original Envoy in better than average shape $2000.00 to $2500.00. About the same for an L39.
BTW that is a CASH offer to anyone reading this that has one you’d be willing to part with. Have Cash ready via EMT.

It more less is a L39 with a forestock and hand guard that is 2 inchs longer and looks like a NO8 rifle until you look at the clip and the end of the barrel.:)
