What can your 6.5 creedmore do that my .260 can't?

Which has more recoil in the same rifle, a 6.5CM with 140gr pill at 2700fps using 39grs of ###x powder or the same pill and velocity using 46grs of yyyy powder?

Why would you do that?

This is not hard. The PRC drives bullets faster and uses more powder. That equates to more recoil and less barrel. Period.

US doesn't like anything Euro, 300 Norma is the first Euro cartridge I think they ever adopted for anything military in the last 100 years outside of the Bofors.
6.5x47Lapua is already a better cartridge design then the 6.5CM...but it's Euro, so won't be pushed in the US.

It’s a great design. But let’s face it. If it was a resounding success you’d be moaning about it to.

Then there is the inherent accuracy claims associated with the shape of the brass. In a hunting rifle.

I feel at a total disadvantage with my $450 lightweight 100+ year old designed rifle and ancient 6.5x55 cartridge. I should definitely go out and spend $1000-$2000 on a brand new setup that shoots similar but slower lol.
This isn't even a developed load, just thrown together to zero.

I do have a CM that's coming out for another go today. But after shooting the 6.5x55 for 20 years I really see nothing impressive with the 6.5CM at all other then the marketing and buy-in.

That rifle be a long action, right?

Well.... I'm going to declare my Rem700 6.5CM barrel a lemon, didn't shoot any better in the B&C stock today, tried several different powders and bullets and nothing was impressive. Good thing is I'm not at all attached to the cartridge so I will have no problem dumping the dies, brass, and rifle lol. I got better cartridges in the same cal, and better rifles in bigger and smaller cals.
7mmRem shot well, I swapped the brake out and wanted to see if POI changed....not even a hair. 3 rounds out of a terrible LONG ACTION belted mag... garbage lol.

My CM rifle experience is only 150 rounds so far. The combo has already proven to be one of the most consistently accurate, and least fussy to load for, rifles I've owned. Including a handful of custom builds. Due to detachable magazine constraints, load work up consisted of charge weights only. None of the usual tweeks for accurate loading. First powder/bullet tried.

Some targets from my last range trip. Only 3 shot groups, but we are talking hunting rifles, right? It always groups like this, so at this point, I'm comfortable with the sample size. Hah.

6x scope. 100 meters. For reference- target grid is 1 centimetre.
