What can your 6.5 creedmore do that my .260 can't?

And all that means absolutely nothing in a hunting cartridge. But based on your experience hunting with it, its nice to pretend.;)

Try using your 6.5CM hunting then we can talk credibility.
The BS spewed on inherently accurate case talk, easy to tune, etc shows that you spend too much time online.
Its a custom gun with an expensive barrel! If it wasn't accurate or easy to tune I would be very surprised.

Experience running ackely type shoulders through a short action in 30 below zero gives me an opinion that there is such a thing as a case with inherent easy feeding characteristics. Of course 10 degrees is minor. But not as minor as having more factory ammo choices for me.
 
Oh, boy... fortunately there should be plenty of rulers in the school yard pencil cases...

I think the CM is far less provocative than "Chuck's" arrogant, self-righteous demeanor... everyone just feels strongly compelled to give him a "cyber-slap."

My primary coyote rifle at one time was the 243 AI. In a Remington SA.

I went deer hunting in -40C a few years ago with my 6.5x47. Feeds just fine.

Parent case Chucky, I said parent case.
You know what the 6.5CM parent case is?
A 284 Win case shortened to 6.5CM length would have more powder capacity and use the same standard bolt face.

Interestingly enough, the 6XC was designed by its creator to resist case growth, provide ample magazine space, be conservative with powder space, and feed well. Yes, feed well. Does it look familiar?
 
How many guys use the 6xc hunting? Very few, as there is little need to improve on a 243 for that application.

Sound familar?
 
Ok, Chuck, I'm sold... I have an M77 MKII 6.5 CM on the way, Target/Laminate with 28" barrel... I will check it out for myself... I can say right off the top, I like the brass.
 
Nice project HC. A Ruger mag box is 2.90" too isn't it?
