What case lubes do you use?

Substitute Dillon spray.

I use a substitute Dillon spray lube.

Mix 100 mls of liquid lanolin from a health food store ($10) with 500 mls of
99% rubbing alcohol, preferably after warming the lanolin in warm water. Store in an air tight container and transfer to spray bottle for use. Shake spray bottle before each use.
Easy to make and much cheaper than Dillon spray.

Imperial sizing wax is the way to go for me! Its a little slow applying, but clean up is super easy. I am amazed at how easy cases are to resize! I have reloaded thousands of rounds on a single tin of lube! Very economical!

I use an RCBS pad and "float it" in Hy-trans. Hy-trans is a transmission/hydraulic oil used in a tractor differential: I pull the pad out of it's container, and pour a bit of this oil into the container and put the pad on top. Enough oil so it won't overflow when pressed down. Oil permeates up when several cases are rolled on the pad. No neck dents from hydraulic pressure resulting from over lube and no stuck cases.

I use air tool oil on a pad. Dab the neck straight on to get a touch on the inside and wipe rest of the case with my fingers as I do it. Works great. Really it takes almost no lube to do a proper job on sizing a case so you should never have enough on it to get into the primer or powder.

That is also my favorite lube, works great, super cheap to make, easy to wipe off.

i use bearing grease, rub it on the lube pad and roll the cases in it.tumble after resizing to remove the grease.lithium based grease.a tube will last forever.

Lee all the way. When I first started, many moons ago, I used a messy pad with some sticky crap. I've used Lee for 30+ years. But what do I know. :p

I like the Lee lube, mainly because it is water soluble & won't contaminate primers. Never had a stuck case and I clean it off by throwing the cases in some lacquer thinner, swishing them around for a minute and dropping them on a rag to dry. The lacquer thinner evaporates quickly with no residue. Imperial is great for radical resizing and case forming but I find it tougher to clean off than the Lee lube.

Imperial - used the RCBS pad for years and cursed the cleanup and mess until somebody turned me onto ISW. Never gone back, never had a stuck case.

1 part LEE lube, and 9 part's 90 rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle.
I threw in 4-5 lead pellet's to help mix it when it settle's after a couple week's.

RCBS Spray Lube...I set 50 casings in a try and a few quick shots on all sides...with a rag to prevent that sh*t from getting everywhere and presto...works like a charm and no wayward cat hairs sticking to any pad anymore!

I would like to know what the hell you are doing lubing up a cat.;) Or maybe i don`t want to know

Ever own a cat? Mine is like that little dusty kid on Peanuts - ever time he walks, that little dust cloud appears...only with her cat...it's that really fine fluffly, loves to float gently in the air...hair.

Ever wonder what possesses them to want to hop up into a lap just at the precise moment when one just splorps and spreads a new blob of that sticky sh*t on the pad or starting to roll casings in it - when the rest of the 23.9 hours in the day, it could care less if the sky is falling in? Me either.

So I tricked it...bought the spray and voila!...it could care less now for 23.95 hours in the day. :D ;)
