I just ordered a chinese surplus chest rig. Its for the AK but I think it will work. If not, no big deal. it was $25 including shipping.

Condor chest panel with HSGI Taco's

made this one into a shotgun rig, and the Mrs wearing as a size comparison.. shes 5'9 n 60kg .. so quite a small frame.. im 6' n 95kg and i can basically wear it under a button up shirt or softshell jacket etc..

its got a double 7.62 mag shingle on there for M14 and Saiga mags, you could actually fit 5 of those mag shingles on the front.

I'm seriously considering the HSGI Sure grip - From everything I've read and heard, it seems like a great system to build on. Now, to free up some budget....
