What Choke?

mod works well for me some guys shot it thru a full choke and we did to back 20 years ago ..that was all we had to hunt deer with . and it worked well out to 60 or so yards . i us a carlson dead coyote extra full now with # 4 buck shot for hunting yotes and can get them out past 60 yard with no problems DUTCH
 
Try patterning your gun with different chokes and the buckshot you intend to use. It seems that every shotgun/load combination is a law unto itself. You will likely see at least some improvement in patterns in going with a tighter choke than improved cylinder. Your patterns might open up with too tight a choke if the constriction results in deformed pellets.
 
I just asked the same question to one of the veteran hunters I know. He told me he tried all chokes and blew off about $40 in buckshot. When he was done he said his beretta patterned the best with full choke at distances out to 50yds. He wanted to know because he had been told full choke wasn't the best choice. good luck
