What chronograph to buy?

My New Years resolution is to purchase a chronograph. I'd like some input from users out there to assist me in my selection, price and availability and reliability etc. Thanks

There's a lot to be said for the fancy models, but my Chrony is reliable and accurate.

I got a Oehler, I'm happy with it but next time I will get a Pact.
Problem for me with a Chrony was the small shooting window for shotgun stuff.

I've onyl had experience with the chrony models, but i've never had any problems. From arrows out of a longbow and slingshots to high powered wildcats, it'll handle them all. Oh, and you're measuring muzzle velocity with a shotgun. Unless you're shooting soem kind of ancient blunderbuss, you're pattern's not going to open up to a foot in the 14 inches it takes to go over the chrony.
