What color scope rings

I finaly bought a stainless rifle, however I want to keep my black scope.
I am undecided what color scope rings to use on this project, what would look better?, is it possible that maybe you guys can post some pics so I can see what would look better, stainless with black scope with SILVER rings or BLACK rings.

I would appreciate it.

What I did with my Remington 700 Stainless was go with stainless bases (to match the rifle) and black rings (to match the scope).There are no funny contrasts and it looks sharp. Course if you have a surgeon action on yours your going to end up going with a picatinny ring and black or some dark color seems to be the only affordable option.

I have an older Ruger M77 all weather stainless in 338 with that stupid scalloped out butt on its black stock. I put a 2.5 – 10 elite 4200 Bausch & Lomb (now Bushnell) silver scope on it with black rings. It looked futuristic fabulous I figured. Then I covered it all up with camo tape

the main turnoff for me is that 90% of aftermarket 'stainless' rings on the market arent really stainless, just some sortof finished/plated carbon steel or aluminum. would it be so hard for these companies to machine the rings out of stainless?

black rings on black scope and black or stainless bases on stainless guns. that said i have stainless optilocks with a black scope. maybe we should get martha stewart to help deceide
