Hi everyone,
I've been saving up some coin all year and got a few bucks to drop on my first AR as well as some handguns and some NR stuff(maybe a stag 10). Anyways I've been looking at diemaco/colt canada stuff but I don't know which one of their AR's to get. Yeah I know I can get close to same quality with DD or whoever else but I like the maple leaf on the side okay :bangHead: . Been looking at the MRR's especially the 11.5' one's because of the whole free float barrel and MLOK, but wouldn't mind the SA15.7 either. Mostly just trying to decide if I'd be better off getting the MRR, or throwing a free float handguard onto an SA15.7?

Thanks in advance:popCorn:

Buy the mrr. The sa15.7 is yesterdays news. Do you want what reg force has or what cansofcom has?

Oh. The mrr is gonna be lighter as well.

I'd get MRR, of course you could never change the handguard.
Why not. I thought it was a removable Mlok not that it matters. Or is it proprietary? All this Barbie for men crapaccesories is all Tactical Ninja BS. Most off my rifles I own are still 1913 rails and I don’t care. Monolithic uppers or URG KAC one I have on my SR15. It’s all marketing to some degree.

The best Rail lock up system is on the 416/417 but I would say having 2 screws is the best way like the 417. All the other ones don’t work as well and don’t last as long.

Hell my old KAC RIS/RAS Systems are five for me and they last under real use.

You can't change the hand guard is what he's saying - its all one monolithic receiver on the IUR/MRR.

The mrr/iur the handguard and receivers are machined from a single forged piece. The upper receiver and handguard are one piece. So you best be happy with the handguard because that's what you are stuck with.

I'd say DON'T buy an SA because then you'll be tempted to turn it into a C7 or C8 clone, and ELCAN scopes cost more than the damn rifle you'll put them on! :D

Not to mention c79a2 are hard to find and once you dump the boatloads of money to get one prepare to be horribly underwhelmed by its performance.
