What could have happened

Were you hunting rabbits by chance, sometimes they will stick a carrot in the end of the barrel and cause all kinds of havoc if you aren't paying attention.
 
Top 3 guesses
-Modern ammo to much pressure
-Small fracture in the chamber
- yep lepurchan finger sounds feesable

Pics or it didn't happen! And how the "blank" can anyone answer this without???
 
Its an older shotgun but without a lot more detail and pictures as mentioned in several posts no one will be able to help you. There are a lot of very knowledgeable people here if you give them some information they might figure out what happened.

yaya okay im having a hard time posting a pic hopefully this works

i was shooting trap and i was on my 19th shot and the stock of the gun blew off and the chamber came out the back i was shooting 2 3/4 8 shot im vary new to shooting and this was my first shotgun ive shot about 200 shells through it just trying to get an idea of what to look out for when buying used guns

Well terminology is important...

the stock of the gun blew off - does that mean the fore stock came off the shotgun or the butt stock came off? Did something break?

the chamber came out the back - I don't understand this statement at all... the chamber is part of the barrel and does not move anywhere... what came out the back and what is the "back"? Were they any other shooters there? If so what did they think? Was it factory ammunition?


Perhaps good pictures may show what you have been unable to convey...

Reading your post helped relieve my sore eyes.....I suppose literacy is not to be taken for granted.
