Hi guys, I'm wondering what semi 20ga do you recommend for sporting and skeet that is currently available in stores. I did do a search under 20ga. here but didnt find what I was looking for.
Thanks
well in a semi, I'd look at a Beretta 391 with a 28inch barrel. And if that doesn't do it for you Benelli has one as well. Browning/ Win SX3 likely comes in a 20 gauge. FS
If I like the gun, I'd probably put 1000-1500 rds. in a year thru. and as for budget, I'm thinking in the "B" gun range if need be. They seem to be less available in 20ga any suggestions on where to look?
Benelli Montefeltro is a great gun in 20ga. Epps has them in stock, so do a few other retailers. Very easy to clean, maintain and they point and handle like a fun double.

The 20ga. semi-auto I loved the best was the Franchi 720, a very light, beautiful and natural pointing shotgun...discontinued now but some may be left on a shelf somewhere.
The reality is that any semi-auto 20ga. you pick up in the $800-$2000 range is going to give you many years of reliable shooting. Try them all and buy the one that fits you best.
Edit: Take a look at Ellwoood Epps site. They currently list Winchester, Browning, Benelli, Franchi, Remington and Weatherby 20ga. guns. Only downside is you won't be able to handle them before you buy.
