What dealer was offering the 14", 870P barrels recently?

same boat, havent owned an 870 in probably 5 years.... the 590 has been doing yeoman duty and the versamax for competition, but these barrels where hard to pass up.
Couldn't agree more. There were some decent prices to be had during the "Black Friday" sale that just ended. $50 rebate from Remington in addition to whatever discount could be made at the store level. I bought (2) for projects I'm planning.
The build plan is this:
870 WM receiver, 14" barrel, that muzzle break, either a +1 or +2 mag extension depending on length, magpul SGA stock set, Mesa Tac 20" top rail, some sort of reflex optic and Magpul offset backup sights.
I am going to get Casey at Tac Ord to Cerakote the receiver and barrel in the Magpul black and polish up the internals for me and then put it all together.
I hope it looks as badazz when it's done as I picture it in my head.

Consider this:
The +1 will make the tube and 14" barrel flush. With your breacher however a +2 will extend past the breacher.
The SGA is a great choice, but maybe explore other forend options as the MOE can be uncomfortable/slippery for some, and really looks best when flush mounted with a 12" barrel. They can look a bit odd on 14" guns IMHO. Good luck!
I had to add the muzzle break because I really wanted the 20" rail which would go 1/2" past the end of the barrel. Once I get the barrel threaded and MB installed I will measure to see if I can get a +2 on there, otherwise it's the +1. I was originally considering a different forend but then when I decided I wanted to get the rec/barrel creakoted with the magpul colour I decided just to stick it out with the magpul forend.
Did you order directly from them or through a dealer? If a dealer, which one?
The only importer I could find in Canada is a place called Al's Corner Store in Arnprior, ON just outside of Ottawa. I think they just got a big shipment in because mine wasn't in their system yet but they had it there. $155 plus tax for that one.
I recommend trying an Urbino out first before buying, if possible.
I currently have one that only lasted one outing, due to some vicious cheek slap. Its now unfortunately been delegated to the parts shelf. They look cool, are good quality and shoulder nice...but it ended there for me personally.

Those who were the firsts on the preorder. S&J didn't receive the amount of barrels they ordered (don't blame them, blame Remington and Gravel Agencrap). I have a useless non-barreled 870 because of this cluster####.
