Saw some neat things today.
A labeled CIL model 121, also labeled Anschutz west Germany, also stamped 64 on the barrel.

An old Cooey with no barrel markings, single shot, the forend is slotted where your fingers go.

Also a full box of Whizbang ammo, and an almost full box of Gevelot "smokeless" .22 ammo and an old CCI stinger box of ammo.
Will post some pics in a few days.
Oh and a great shape Nylon 66

Pretty sure it was the model 121 that Anschutz made for CIL, Different than any other Andchutz. Almost impossible to find a bolt or firing pin for it.

The Anschutz is a 121 for sure and I took pics of it. The Cooey is not a model 39 as I have one if those. I will be home tomorrow to post pics. No pic of the Cooey though. Found a good Anschutz list from Rimfire Central but the list had no 121 on it.

No, the Cooey is not the model 39. The original "new style" Cooey that came out after the Ace type models, had the finger channel in the forend. It came out in the early 30's. The model 39 came out in 1939 and did not have the finger channel. The stock is also different dimensions.

My two Anschutz 64 series are not marked with any 64 action designation. Had an older 190 that had the date stamp of 65 on the bbl, later years they went to letter ID. Waiting for pics to clear this up. FWIW, lgs here has a 310 sporter on the rack, similar to mine but with the bbl boss where the sight mounts. The 64 action will have the bolt in line with the trigger, lesser models have the bolt ahead of the trigger, about 1 1/2 inches. Hope this helps.

Nice clean looking gun. The 64 is the year. It is a lesser model than the 64. The action was used for entry level target guns. Lots of info at Rimfire central. Put a decent scope on it and hit the gopher patch in the spring, you won't be disappointed.

Ya it's pretty sweet but it's still my father in laws. He sanded the old finish off and left it. Not sure what type of finish it should have? I have not seen a CIL model 121 anywhere online yet. Maybe it was not that common???
