What did you get for Alberta Draws!!!

My plan had been to build points for most things, and pull a mulie buck tag in WMU 102. As it turns out, I'll just be building points. Since when does a priority 3 not pull a WMU 102 mulie tag?!?!

Ah well, it's just as well that I lay low this season and be more present as usual around the house.... since next Sept. & Oct. I'll be away for over a month chasing Cape buff, lioness and elephant <evil grin!> :D
 
I got an antlered moose for 330 close to home and I am looking forward to shooting a nice spike bull and putting thick steaks on the BBQ.

My son drew a camp wainwright permit for the first rifle season and I will go with him to film.

Still have to wait for the Antelope draws.

I bought a non-res-canadian white-tail licence for Sask. so I will be there doing some scouting and bird hunting in the early fall and deer hunting later on.

Best of luck to you! I sure do enjoy hunting that zone when the tag gods smile upon me -- it's really magnificent country, with postcard quality sunsets and big, big views that go on forever.

So enjoy -- and get a big one!

Wow your a patient man,, takes a LONG time to draw for 330! Buddy drew that unit last year,, he saw 2 bulls and a cow and he killed the spiker before they had camp set-up! After waiting I believe 9 years...

I would have waited for one of the 50 inchers ive seen in there after waiting that long to draw a tag.

I was priority 5 this year and got drawn. I believe they dropped the number of permits a few years ago as I thought I would have been drown before now. My wife was drawn a few years ago and so I partnered with her and we got to hunt together quite a lot.

I would just as soon shoot a spike bull as I am only interested in moose for the hunt and the meat.
 
4 guys in our moose camp got drawn !!!:D:rockOn:w:h:

2 guys got cow elk.

I 999'd all mine. Moose will be next year, mulie buck would of been this year but I wanted to see what the mulie bucks look like this year after a easier winter with less snow and will apply next year. Didnt do the cow elk as I'm trying to get my priorty numbers up for bull elk.

Next year for trophy full curl sheep, but I wil need to get into shape for that one...better get on it:eek:
