I killed my first deer with a 1978 4 door Chev Nova. I wasn't real happy, cause it was my first car, and the deer finished it off. :|

But I'm guessing it was the first car that the deer killed, so I guess we are even

ROTFLMFAO - priceless

Mine was with a Savage Model 99 in 300 Savage with Weaver K2.5 scope.

Fired 180 grain Winchester Super-X factory from a treestand at 220 yards. 195 pound, 7-point buck walking directly towards me with head to the ground - hit him in the neck about 4 inches above the shoulder blades - broke the spine, never moved off that spot. I would've waited for him to come closer to me but he happened to stop at the exact spot I saw several doe's crossing earlier (from L to R) and I was afraid he'd follow the same path out of sight.

I shot my first deer (Mule doe) with the same rifle that I have used for my other deer (3 Whitetail bucks and 1 Mule buck), a Winchester M70 in 7mm Rem Mag with a Redfield Widefield 2-7 scope. In about a month, with any luck, I will get my first moose with the same rifle.

I shot my first two deer on the same day with my dad's Ruger in 30-06.

Marlin guide gun in 45-70 at about 25 yards!! 300 grain soft points. Big hole in at front right shoulder (devastated his shoulder) and then travelled the length of his body and stopped on the inside of the hide on his left rump.

He went about 150 yards on three working legs and dropped dead.

5 pt. buck 70 yds. running full tilt through both lungs. kinda did a sliding front roll flip thing when i fired. Got back up for a half second trying to continue running but the legs gave out on him. Ear twitched once and it was all over.
"Winchester" Cooey .308 bolt action. With a "Kurt Muller" scope that had my brothers hair from his head installed to replace the broken crosshairs. Shot Imperial 180 gr. nylon tipped bullet. The rifle was handed down from my dad to my brother to me. I have retired it, but it has a palce of honor in my safe. Many a deer met it's demise with that rifle.

PS human hair makes really sh---y crosshairs.
