you should BE ABLE TO PICK UP dies LOCALLY- have you tried?- 308s are pretty common, I've got at least 2 sets- if I was in Vancouver like u are, there's at least 4 shops that come to the top of my head but I can't mention as they're not sponsors of cgn- and if u want to save a buck or 2, head south - these are TOOLS- I WENT WITH LEE as I got sick and tired of rcbs breaking decapping pins

What are you going to be using the ammunition for, hunting, target, plinking, etc? Unless you're seriously intobench rest type shooting, the micrometer seating dies are a waste of money. The Lee 4 die sets are nice. The factory crimp die is handy and the collet dies are very good for neck sizing, better than the Redding neck sizers in my experience...Yes I have both. A Lee 4 die deluxe set shout run around $60 locally. Amazon is great for some things but others they are outrageously priced. Having said all of that, pretty much any die set will make great quality ammunition. Hornady dies are good stuff too, but find they rust up even quicker than Lee dies.
