Hey guys...

I have a MKIII 22/45 en route with 4.5" barrel.
I already have a 10/22CRR with 16" barrel.

This weekend I am going to make it a .22lr weekend. So, what distance would you recommend for zeroing these babies in at (iron sights only - POA hold)

I was thinking 100m zero on the 10/22 and 50m or 25m zero on the MKIII (My 10/22 is currently set to 50m, but I am thinking the pistol can now take that role and I can try shooting farther with the 10/22).

Suggestions?
Anyone have any links for trajectories from these barrel lengths?

~Cheers

The 4.5" MKIII? I have that one, fixed sights. I lucked out and they had it bang one for windage, shoots POA of 20M.

I'd suggest setting the 10/22 @ 50. It'll shoot pretty flat to 100. (based on my 18")

Zero for the distance you want to shoot at, I would go,
100yds. for 10/22 and 25yds. for MKIII

Great, thanks all for input... so I can see it's not as cut and dry as I was hoping it'd be (which is why I posted) :D

I'm glad to hear the fixed sight MKIII is set to 20m-25m. I hope mine is as good when it arrives (should be here tomorrow).
I have my 10/22 at 50m right now which I like, but now with the pistol I think it can specialize in long 100m plinking ;)
