What do I have here, and what is it worth?

Hello everyone.
Someone gave me this shotgun and I have no use for it. I'm going to put it on EE, but I don't know what to ask for it. It looks like a Browning A5, but it's a little different from one that come up when you Google it.
There's almost no bluing left and forend looks home made. I was thinking someone might want if for parts, or a project. The serial number is in the 8500 range if that helps. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

Auto 5's do not get the interest in Canada as they do in the US... and they vary considerably in Canada. If the gun displayed is working correctly I doubt it would sell for more than $300 in my market.

$300.00 would be on the high end in my opinion.

Yeah, it looks like they bought a replacement forend and were too lazy to shape it properly.

With that barrel legend being as it is this gun probably is a 2 9/16” or 65mm chambered gun.
