What do I look for when buying a tavor?

I'm looking to pick up a Tavor but I'm a little lost with the gen 2 vs gen 2.5. I understand the 2.5 has a newer trigger pack that is lighter, but I can't fin a picture that shows the difference between them. Could someone give me an idea of what I should look for? I've tried the Tavor FAQ and did't find what I was looking for :(

There is a Tavor sticky near the top of this forum,on page 1 it has a picture of the recoil assembly,as you will see it is removable on gen 2 ? and older, further down the page it shows the trigger pack, any trigger pack other than this is gen 2.5 as far as I know. I don't think there is any reason to assume gen 2 is any better or worse than a gen 2.5, however it would be logical to assume the gen 2.5 should be the latest upgrades with the direction IWI is taking the rifle.
 
Actually talked to Jon from NS lately on what design was better as I was looking to upgrade to the quiter 2.5 bolt carrier, but he recommended against it as only he (Jon) has the armorers tools to disassemble the gen 2.5 kit. No one else in Canada has those tools or is allowed them. :/
