What do I need?

I have been told over and over that I must reload if I am to take my attempts at IPSC Production Division Seriously.

I have a Beretta 92FS - 9mm.

What should I be feeding this handgun?

What type of bullet? Brass? Primer? Powder?

How do I decide how much powder?

I have to decide between a Hornady LnL AP and a Dillon (a few choices).

I have heard various stories on what is best when it comes to the presses, but have not really heard anything about the bits and pieces to make up the cartridges.

Reloading can help in ipsc, sure the hell beats throwing full charge factory down the range at 15 bucks a box . I use a square deal "b" for all my 9mm loading for ipsc. And have the ability to change my load for when I shoot steel. Reloading just gives you options, and it can be enjoyable at the same time too

Brass is pretty much what you can pick up off the range , some brass sucks but you'll figure that out later . When it comes to bullets and powders it turns towards what is your preference and what you gun likes, when I first started loading , I figured out what to do and how to reload then I moved to playing with different bullets and powder.

There's some playing around and that's the fun part.

Just get a Lee 1000 Pro in 9mm, $229 cdn retail and it comes ready to load. I have 3X 1000 presses (9mm, 40mm, 38/357)

I can crank out 400 rounds an hour. Check out some of the videos on Youtube. heck for a single Dillon, you can buy 2x Lees. And last time me and all my buddies checked, my lee reloads went Bang just like any factory loads

Cheap and easy shooting load is 115gr berry FMJ RN, 4.6gr of Unique and CCI 500 small pistol primers Works great for me.

With my STI Spartan 9mm, can but 3 rounds inside a Toonie at 15yards
