You need to write "Hijo de" on the grip opposite the one marked "Puta".

Llama's get bad mouthed a bit but I have a Comanche revolver that works fine and was my ATC carry revolver for a while.

Your pistol looks super clean.

Nice gun but I prefer the grips the origional black. I have the same one in 9mm. The Llama's got a bad wrap but mine has been very reliable and trouble free for many years and many rounds. It's a real nice looking pistol too. :)

Llama pistols were imported into Canada by Stoeger in the 1970's. They came in .22, 9mm and 45. I sold a few of them and never heard any complaints on any model. The .22 was really well made and worked great. A very fun gun. The 9mm and 45 also were good value considering Colt and military surplus 45's were almost your only choice.
Magazines cost a lot to obtain for these guns now.
In 9mm the only other gun was the Spanish Star. These guns were mostly imported new or ex German Border Police guns which came with holster and extra magazine.

my 7 rounder stock mags from my Operator fit in my Llama 45 no prob!

I have the full set of Llama 1911's both mini and full size. The 22 is amazing as is the 9mm. They came in 22, 32acp, 380, 9mm and 45acp. Parts can be a bit of an issue but if you know where to look, you're golden.
