What do you call it when a poster lists a NIB gun for $155 more than it can had for from a dealer?

Several terms come to mind, none of them flattering. In my experience, once you've bought a gun, it is now a "used gun", even if unfired. Think not? Try returning a gun to a dealer and you will find yourself referred to the importer. The dealer is under no obligation to replace it or refund your money.

Thats OK, I just went to a gun auction on Saturday and watched people bid on and buy guns for more than what they sell for new

Its called free market. You can ask whatever you want for your property. its up to the buyer to be smart enough to not go for said property.

Best response so far...Just look at how the M&P 22 pistols are selling..Some folk's are ok paying up to get what they want NOW..Many products are not available right now.I talked to a dealer today about a SIG who said it would probably be six months!! It's a sellers market right now for sure..

outside of pistols, one of the worst firearms right now is the KSG shotgun... retail is $995 but there is a 2-3 year wait at the rate things are going so they're going for 2.5 to 3 times their retail... it's what you get for when you want something now and dont' want to wait... think of it as a bribe to bypass the line.

I call the complaining a entitled mentality. a guy can ask whatever he wants, no one has to buy it, on the other hand, folks are not obligated to list at rock bottom prices, which most guys seem to want. Ignore it and move on.

A tamer answer is, maybe said buyer paid full retail, which is higher than you have seen it listed elsewhere, and is simply wanting to get his money back. Not rocket science.

A new gun is a new gun regardless of who owns it. don't like it, don't buy, no need to beech.
